Gazette fan, best be careful, your intolerance is shining through. Oh wait, my bad, I forgot that its ok to be intolerant, as long as you attack judeo-christian religion.
btw, who are these most religious people in america filling up the prisons? Last I saw Jeremiah Wright and Obama were still walkin the streets.

I challenge janesvillemom to put half the effort she has applied to smearing Palin into doing a little research on Obama. Convince me that hope and change really do come from Chicago.

On Children's museum receives green light from Janesville City Council

Posted on August 13 at 4:57 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Well folks, it was unanimous. Time to vote the BUMS out. They readily admitted this wouldn't fly in a referendum so they went ahead and did it anyway. Hey council people, you are representatives of the people! Not corporate C.E.O.'s sucking a company dry in the name of your bank accounts! You all should be embarrassed by your actions and I hope to see you in the unemployment line after the election. The difference between you guys and everybody else there is that you council members truly do deserve to lose your jobs!

On Council throws support to children's museum

Posted on August 13 at 12:59 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

lakennedy, I couldn't agree with you more. A freakin children's museum? What will the exhibits be? Toys children used to play with before playstation came along? I'm sure that will really capture their imagination. Better yet, Imagine this conversation...."Johny, or Susie, I'm so sorry that daddy lost his job at G.M., Lear, L.S.I., or wherever and we cant afford to send you to little league or pony camp, but HEY! We now have this really neat Children's museum we can take you to, as soon as the unemployment check rolls in. Won't that be fun??"
Another point, IF the private sector is really behind this project and willing to foot that kind of cash for it, how bout the city council use their influence and encourage that private sector to spend the money employing people? I'm pretty sure that would have a greater affect on children then taking them to a builing with a bunch of stupid Lincoln Log and Tinker Toy exhibits.
