totellthetruth: Maybe that's because nobody wants to speak with a Fox "reporter".

On Wisconsin exports grew to $22 billion in 2011

Oversensitivity continues to be a characteristic of the right in these comment sections. I placed my comment here because it was an "economic story" and I had doubts that the info would make it into the Gazette's limited space. I don't credit Walker for the export increase and I don't blame him for these job losses. So, imagine what you want as far as my motive. You people lost touch with reality long ago (IMO). And each day that Walker continues to face possible recall, you folks seem even more grouchy. What's up with that?

WISLADY WRITES: " ... While PolitiFact is an opinion piece and its conclusions should be accepted with a grain of salt ...". That phrase seems to nullify the rest of your comment.

Thank you, Bearfan, for your comment at 12:35 p.m. Up until that point, 99 percent of these comments were just plain mean and nasty.

Good one, JohnWicket! I wonder if Kedzie or any of the others even remember crossing the street to sign the "secret" documents at the private law office?

On Obama budget seeks to boost trade enforcement

wislady: Budget blueprint (whatever that means) is to be released on Monday. totellthetruth: Please pinpoint what you see as "lies" from President Obama on this issue. I think the subject being addressed is very long overdue and I am glad to see somebody working on it. If the GOP has a plan on this, please let me know. I am keeping an open mind on this one, except for the opinion that trade enforcement needs to be addressed now (if not yesterday). nemesis: The plan is to " ... bring trade enforcement functions now conducted by the Commerce Department, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and others under one roof and significantly increase their resources. ...". Other items being requested by Obama bring the total price tag to $49 million. I would hope that it would pay for itself in increased manufacturing here and an increase of U.S. exports. Also, I would think U.S. corporations would welcome this proposal. Now, if the GOP doesn't demonize it ...

On Democrat: Wis. GOP recall challenges won't stand

wislady: Where did I ever say that Hendricks did not support or agree with Walker's beliefs? I know Hendricks and his wife did so, but that doesn't mean that I can't admire the couple because our political beliefs differ. My whole point from my comment to vato was this: Please don't characterize Hendricks and Walker as one and the same based only on the fact that neither of them finished college. Even if he earned a doctorate, Walker (IMO) would never outsmart Hendricks. College degree or not, Hendricks was an original.

Koch_Bros: That isn't the definition of "minuteman" that my mother taught me.
