On Milton man guilty on poison charge in Alaska

I understand why people are upset, saying that this is the same thing that abortion doctors do every day, but you can't look at it from that angle, not in this case.
He asked her to get an abortion, and she said no. She made it clear to him that she would NOT end her child's life. When he took it into his own hands, WITHOUT HER CONSENT, that is what made it an even more atrocious act. With abortion, it is a CHOICE made by a person, not something done by sneaking medication into food.
I used to be good friends with the husband in this case...I'm still shocked and horrified at what he did. When I knew him, I never would have thought he was capable of such a crime, but people obviously change, and there were obviously things I didn't know about him. I hope he regrets what he did and understands how his actions have hurt not only his wife and their child, but his family, as well. He deserves the punishment coming to him (if not a harsher one).
