Truly sick and sad, I agree this guy deserves the harshest penalty possible!
Death penalty extremely appropriate!!!!
Get rid of the worthless trash!!
As a parent of four, it sickens me to read these stories of adults abusing and/or killing these innocent children!
SICK SICK SICK!!!!!!!!!

Half the story.. hmm go figure.. :P
Sorry to hear she was bitten, glad owners came forward.
Story lacks details, obviously the dog didn't have current rabies shots or there would be no need to quarantine as far as I know?
When is the last the time a dog actually had rabies?? An actual real case of rabies, seriously, I'm curious?? Heard of bats years ago...but not any dogs?

Thank you Sluggo and badger4life for understanding what I was trying to say.
To clarify a little more, never said it was the student's job, but obviously if they are not listening to what the teachers are bringing up, why not hear what a few students have to say.
A service provided, yes, but what quality of service from overworked teachers dealing with 58-60 pre-teen students in a crowded pod room setup with not much space to move around or get the extra few minutes a student needs for help, having to be a library tone or listen to the noisier 3rd graders 5 ft. away, but oh yea who needs to hear about that.
truth1 you are a joke, just by your statement, bash a teacher that is very compassionate, listens to what the students have to say, and cares enough to share it with the school board. Isn't that what the listening sessions are all about?? Anyway, I think changes need to be made to benefit our children.

Did someone finally decide more teachers are needed?? This issue was brought up a couple weeks ago and my daughter's teacher was pretty much laughed at for bringing this topic up. All because she asked my daughter to read her persuasive paragraph on why more teachers are needed, even the students know that they are not getting the best education possible due to limited time with their teachers, crowded classrooms, just to name a few. I found it absurd to hear that one of the board members stared aimlessly, playing with water bottle, while my daughter spoke. I guess the student's opinion doesn't really matter, it's only their education their talking about.

I feel for the family, clearly things could have been done differently. Don't understand why an emergency c-section wasn't done if the baby became stuck?
As for Dr. Kochell, he too was my doctor & delivered 3 of my 4 children. He insisted I schedule a C-section for my 2nd child, said she was breech and wouldn't turn in time, which I regret doing, but thats another story.
My first delivery was one of the most traumatizing experiences ever, most of it came from other staff not knowing how to do things correctly.
From the orderly placing IV in hand squirting blood all over my hand.(disturbing to first time mom) Then epideral time, told to roll to one side then left for hours, come time to push and it was extremely difficult, after delivery, the nurse insisted I get out of bed, and I kept telling her I can't feel my right leg. I said ok finally, go to stand & instead of assisting me & holding on to me she steps back,I try to stand & I drop like a puppet whose strings were cut.
Little did I know that would haunt me for the rest of my life, I have infrequent hip pain to the point its difficult to walk sometimes.
Guess I should have sued? No I'm just not that type of person, but everyone has their reasons.
I'm sure most of you find this amusing, but whatever, I'm just stating one of my experiences with Mercy's questionable staff.

gilly just cause yer ignorant to the concept of inertia and the way a body is carried when thrown from a bike the extra 3 1/2 inches added to the distance from his head to the pavement didn't allow for his person to continue it's normal rotation if the helmet wasn't there he would of cleared the pavement with his head and continued over onto his back and slid along on his back and as for another excuse i wear a helmet some of the time just not all of the time and kawasixer01 the required helmets by law would not be full face and there for if you land on your face you would still lose it. and gilly you tell that to my mom because she raised us without a dad only the social security checks monthly from his death was all i remember about him

i know it is a rare case but i lost my father when i was five too a helmet he was thrown from the motorcycle and the pavement snagged the helmet and broke his neck the doctors said that if he wasn't wearing a helmet he would of survived the crash and more than likely not even got more than a little road rash it boils down to what kind of a country and what kind of people are we that we are willing to just bow down and let all are liberties go in the blink of an eye it's bad enough that the laws say we as adults need to wear a seat belt i can see our kids being restrained but to justify telling law abiding legal age citizens what we must do that effects only our persons is in my opinion illegal and a breach in the constitution

Mr. Cain was an excellent role model for my children. They miss him dearly!
This is a great way to express how truly great he was.
My daughter raised $100 just by visiting many great Van Buren neighbors.
I want to thank everyone for their generous contributions!
