Sounds like Delavan Rescue is out advertising for sure. Not sure if they are looking for work but looks like it. Was Darien Rescue personel there? Sounds like their turf may be in jeopardy.

Are you kidding me? $168,000 for two people for two Villages who can only handle one call at a time, when these two are gone and another call comes in then what? Will the volunteers come running or will we need to add another two man crew for back up at $168,000. Spadoni what's marginal? Don't we have private ambulances that would transport for the fees? I don't think much thought has gone into this.

Proud? The majority probably voted him into the position and maybe they were not in the majority but it sounds like they would be now. Voices will be heard by larger numbers not by walking away. That's the easy way out. They all will feel bad if something happens and they weren't there to help prevent it.

Well maybe Darien will have to have some full time people on 24/7, like BloomField/ Genoa City and Lake Geneva. That cost ought to get someone's attention.

The headlines are deceiving, the ex firefighters want things done? Sorry you lost your voice when you walked out on the community and the department. Now it's up to the Chief and the department to take the appropriate measures. Maybe they the ones that left couldn't take the changes from one Asst Chiefto another. Everyone has their own style.

I'll bet there more than 50 thousand in the hole, But they just started. It amazes me that people can be in the know, so quickly. If you don't have a solution to the problem you must be part of the problem. Come back in a year and cry foul if things don't improve.
