A male ring-necked pheasant. Am always amazed at the beautiful autumn coloring and multitude of patterns on their feathers. They also have the cutest strut when they kick up snow.

Sarah, not understanding your comment.

Frogger and Lisa....I feel for ya! The anticipation of a wonderful meal and delightful company in a nice establishment adds to the excitement of celebrating a birthday or Valentine's Day. A very big disappointment when it doesn't work out, particularly when you realize you've just paid for mediocre food and shameful service. I'd print out a copy of the article and comments and send it to the restaurant in Chicago and the Wagon Wheel.

On What’s your name again?

The quips are priceless. I just love you humorous people!

I too forget names as soon as I hear them so was in the habit of writing them down immediately when someone called me at work. One day I took a call for my boss and didn't write the caller's name down right away. At the end of the call I couldn't remember their name, but knew I needed to get it for the boss' message. Then I got the bright idea to find out their name by cleverly asking, "And how is your last name spelled?" There was dead silence....DEAD SILENCE....and then the gentleman slowly and distinctly spelled out, "J...O...N...E....S."
