(waiting for the inevitable rude, insensitive comments due to follow justifying the cyclists injuries because some cyclist somewhere failed to stop at a stop sign or obey a law)..............

Great comments here from my fellow professional drivers here, thank you all. County N and 26 has claimed many dozens of lives through the years due to impatient motorists waiting at the stop signs on N. Coming home to Fort Atkinson north on 26 down the hill i've locked up 18 sets of brakes more than a few times trying to avoid the cars that blow through the stop signs there. I'll be happy when the new interchange is complete.

Wisconsin Rapids is well know to professional drivers to be a community that supports it's budget heavily with traffic citations. Not surprised at all with this. It's less about safety and more about money to them. Anyone who's had to deal with their ridiculous truck routes in that city knows what i'm talking about.

As a former LL employee back in the 80's during the Ramada days, I can say it was a great place for visitors and I hope it's glory days are in the future and not in the past. The downfall of the Lodge was de-staffing the airport during the 90's which killed most of the corporate jet and twin traffic to the resort and left it to compete with the mid-priced hotels. Kudos to reopening the resort but I hope my gut feeling is wrong that this might be a temporary attempt to raise the value for reselling off the property piece by piece.

Good comments melstew47 (apart from the grammar, lol) I agreee, everyone always has to put in their 2 cents on teen activities and fear is usually behind it. The idea of releasing control for a few hours is frightening to today's helicopter parent!

I love how the simpleton that wrote the article says, "...they found the malware that ran his robot network, called botnet" ... as IF it was his personal pet name for his creation. lol. A botnet is just a term for any network of remotely controlled and infected machines. GEE, MY PET HIS NAME IS BOTNET lol

the only foreign material i worry about is beef sticks with Monosodium Glutomate - I bought a package of them at the Shell truck stop in Madison, unrefrigerated and eating them caused my face to swell up like a baloon! MSG should be eliminated from these products, there are safer alternatives that aren't so allergy-sensitive.
