On Child safe after being left on Janesville school bus

Posted on February 9 at 3:40 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

SarahB- Wmtv 15 story explains why no one missed the child, school was left a message that child missed the bus, and parents phone was not to be working....strange?
Sorry I don't know how to post a link.
I also wondered why the bus aide wasn't fired, Isnt that part of the duties of an aide is to see the kids on and OFF the bus?

Try the odorless or burpless fish oil caps, they cost a little more, but no kitty breath!

On Do roadside memorials go too far?

Kangaroojack...I was gonna say, if Dave's memorial was still there, and had reflectors (or lights) maybe it could have "distracted" Shane, and prevented another death.

Let the family have a place to greive, come spring, they may decide to plant a tree, or set a bench in his honor somewhere else, and move on from the accident scene. My heart goes out to them, He was a great guy, taken too soon, and its not my place to say when and where they greive for him.

On How do we cork underage drinking?

Posted on January 6 at 2:57 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

nscr17... I agree, I cannot have full control over what they do outside of home, but I do not ever want to be awakened in the night by officers telling me my kid has been in an accident. I don't approve of underage drinking, but you have to let them know it's always OK to call for a ride NO MATTER WHAT! and there will be no questions asked.

I will certainly pick up change, I'm scared not to (bad karma), unless its tails up, then I will bend over, flip it to heads up, and leave the luck for someone else.

On Mercy president, CEO defends his salary

Reading this just gives me a stomach ache. He is rarely at the hospital, in his 4th floor suite, how could that make him worthy of this type of salary. How noble would it be to stand up and defend your salary if you were the CEO of a place with up to date equipment, state of the art machines, and top-notch staff. thats where all the $$ comes from, cutting corners on matched savings, benefits, pay raises and cutting the budget for needed equiptment for us to do our jobs.

Mercy Health System's Board of directors should be ashamed of themselves!! they approved this.
I wish they could be the ones deciding what all others working their tails off on a daily basis at these facilities get paid too. Working extra hard, picking up duties of positions that have been eliminated didn't bring me to any extra pay, just extra work, and a "watch your overtime" scolding. This is shameful of more than just Bea...name the board members too, see what they have to say about it!
