"If you want to learn about wind farms, stay off the internet"
Why is Mick Sagrillo worried about people researching wind power on the internet? Is he concerned that people might find out the truth?
I've seen plenty of wind turbines, and they are without a doubt ugly. I've also found out enough about the technology to know it's not environmentally friendly (or people-friendly, for that matter).
By all means, visit a wind plant. But anyone who wants to know more should do a little more research than just going on a developer-sponsored bus trip.
A good place to start is National Wind Watch (wind-watch.org).
