First I would like to say this opinion is not from a Edgerton firefighter but a paid firefighter on the outside looking in. How can you have full time personal when they don’t even meet the minimum qualifications as a firefighter in the state of WI. I applaud Edgerton for getting rid of laziness that all to often the union protects. You want a job you should earn it. Get the education necessary to do the job and don’t look to the union to protect you when you shouldn’t even have the job in the first place.

a glorified cleaning crew how sad.....look at the picture of the guy cleaning the fire truck...he is in no shape to be in firefighting. If they dont have the certifications they are required to preform the duties they should not be there period. Get rid of them and hire some people that can do the job....its sad they play the union card....just a place for them to hide behind laziness and the lack of education to do the job
