On Aquatics board to take over center management

I agree with biggirl. The facility is more than just an aquatics center for children. I heard Mercy was instrumental in transforming the center into what it is today. No matter what, the aquatics center will still be patronized by members of the community. And alot of locals take their grandchildren there for fun and I doubt that that will change.

Only time will tell whether or not it's a good idea to build a new hospital during these challenging economic times. Mercy is a great hospital with top-notch doctors. Didn't they have doctors from Thailand and Japan visit their hospital last summer for tips on how Mercy became a healthcare leader? By the way, I loved the photo in today's paper. It must have been cold out yesterday at the groundbreaking ceremony, but the photo is very cute!

Out of curiosity, I decided to click the link provided by Sannio and I noticed that if you do a search for contributions under the name "Mercy" it will produce a list of contributions made from organizations with that name, including those in Chicago, Homewood and Chesterfield, MO. At any rate, this article is mostly about "old news" and the focus is on what has transpired in the news with Gov. Blago.
