I'm at most Parker games, my nephew plays for Parker & I enjoy going to Milton, Craig and Parker games. I'm not saying refs don't have an influence on games - they do. but games are won and lost by the players and coaches and not the ref. It is pathetic to think that a ref loses a game.

Ha! That is about the worst remark you can make as a fan and as a coach. No matter how bad or good the refs are, any coach with a shed of professionalism or coaching insight (no matter what sport) knows that is the last thing you blame a game on. Refs do not lose games, teams do. A true coach can get his or her team past adversity and thrive on it. Whoever you were rooting for however, a very exciting game for the entire town of Janesville. Kudos to both schools!

On Rock County 4-H Fair Board president wants to mix things up

HAHAHA! Too Funny! Way to take the credit on this one bob! Though I have never been on the fair board, I attend the meeting each year as my kids started 4-H 5 years ago. We have talked about a rodeo and one day - discount day at the fairboard meeting for the past three years, just as our neighboring fairs do. The fair board had those two wrapped up before you got there. Way to make these great changes! :-) Basically the only new thing since our new leader jumped on board is bringing us Micro Wrestling. I hope that is a success, it has the potential! For those involved in the 4-H fair, I really hope this president actually does make a meaningful change (positive or negative) during his term. So far, all I have heard is "I" am going to make changes and think outside of the box. Year #1 of the term down, 1 more year to actually bring us something new and impactful! Good Luck! I hope the fair continues to head in a postive direction, as it has the past 20+ years!

Way to be a positive role model for these young men coach M. My brother is thrilled with the way you handled yourself on the court. My nephew is "learning" so much from you. Remember, these kids look up to you. Please remember that before you begin to act like a five year old and get thrown out of another game.
