On CRG tied to anti-teacher flier

Posted on May 22 at 12:45 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

And for those of you who said Governor Walker lied - you obviously paid no attention to the election. Show me one thing Doyle promised and kept in his administration. I don't recall seeing doctors acting like the teachers did when he raided their fund? Which btw was completely and totally illegal. Nope, the doctors had to take him to court - and not until Governor Walker was elected, was that fund paid back.
You tell me who is the corupt one. The left only want tolerance and compromise when it is the right who has to compromise. But when the left is asked to - the answer is no. Just ask the teachers in Milwaukee who got fired because their union wouldn't negotiate. Their pay/benefits was more important than keeping jobs. Yep - true colors.

The hatred and hypocricy by the left is what is fueling the exact same antics by the right. Is it wrong? yes. But speaking as one who is sick and tired of reading/listening to the news report a one sided report when it comes to Governor Walker, I definately understand the frustration. I am so sick and tired everytime the Governor is doing something (i.e. honoring the Fallen Milwaukee Police/Fire heroes btw where was Tom Barret? Oh ya - at a union rally, or when the Governor is visiting with special needs children), there are these obnoxious communistic blue fist protestors. The left has gone too far. Your behavior becomes you. You have now been exposed for the hypocritical, obnoxious, intolerant party you are. Regardless of how things turn out in the future. You will never have my respect.
And thanks to Fred Levenhagen and all the teachers who got phony excuses from work and shut down schools, you teachers have lost my respect as well. Your behavior was unacceptable. You wouldn't want it allowed in your classroom - so why did you exhibit the same for all of the world to see?
Truly - what a shame.

Madein;
Really? It's all Walker/Ryan fault? Can't you sing another tune? For crying out loud, this has been in the works long before Walker got into office as Governor. And what exactly does Ryan have to do with it?
Boy, this blame any republican that's in office for everything bad that happens is getting really old. This behavior is getting tiring.
As for the ACTUAL ISSUE at hand? Unfortunately I have no opinion. My family was impacted by the Hwy 12 project that was proposed (in Jefferson/Walworth Cty). And fortunately, Scott Walker stopped that project. I'm sorry for any farmer that may lose land or their home due to road projects.

On Delavan-Darien Superintendent considering buyout?

Posted on April 25 at 9:05 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

She needs to go. She is nothing positive to Delavan Schools. And for the record - the School Borad has many new members, those who did not hire her. She has zero respect of the staff and parents. Therefore, she is ineffective and has got to go. I don't care how she leaves, just so she's gone.

On How much would you pay for a light bulb?

I'm ok with the new bulbs - if they save you money, and work like they say, the market will dictate price/demand. Rational people want to save money on their energy (or at least feel like they are). I just absolutely do not agree with the government telling us what we can and can not buy. Let the free market dictate the product. If it's good - people will buy it and change their ways. The government shouldn't force us to do what it thinks is right. JMO

On Recalling November 2, 2010

Posted on April 16 at 12:20 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

I keep reading "Walker is a liar". Imagine that - a politician who lies. This is nothing new. However, I'm amused that just because someone didn't tell you what they were going to do ahead of time makes them a liar. This is debatable.
Also: He didn't tell you he was backed by Koch. Really? This is an issue? Where are politicians supposed to get their money from? Obama gets it from large "green technology" companies and then passes laws to benefit them. How is that not crooked? Unlawful? A liar?
The fleeing 14 got their money backed from the unions. How is that not controversial? Because the money is coming from members who are FORCED to pay dues? Those members don't get a say as to where their money goes to. What is the difference from unions backing a candidate and a local business? Guess I'm confused. But then again, I never did get justification for hypocricy.
This recall is ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt about collective bargaining. To say otherwise is definately lying. How can it not be? If you recalled every politician for "lying" (which I'm not convinced he ever did), and for being backed by a large corporation, then nobody would be in office. We'd only be having recall elections. So don't sit there and tell me this recall is because he received money from the Koch brothers and because he supposedly "lied" to you.
Property taxes are down. Walker did the right thing. Did it upset people? You bet. But Doyle upset me with his choo choo train illegal contract too. Which is why I took it to the voting booth.
Let's just be a Right to Work state - and watch all you unionistas leave. Maybe then the rest of the state can get to work.

On Delavan-Darien School Board to see changes

Posted on April 10 at 2:12 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

wow....what liberal rhetoric I'm reading. First of all - you bet I'm gonna hold people to task if they signed the recall petition. It is a public document. If you didn't want anyone to know where you stand, then you shouldn't have signed it. You are absolutely right to have your opinion on the issues. However, I feel that to recall someone based on a vote - based on something our Governor promised he was going to do is absolutely ridiculous. Exactly what was so awful about Act 10 that requires him to lose his job over it? Do you realize that under Governor Doyle, he cut education by far more money than Walker did? How do you then classify Walker as anti education? And all because he didn't go to college he has a vendetta against educators? On what planet does that even begin to make sense or have one to do with the other?
To be so upset over the Act 10 changes that only impacted 12% of WI residents is absolutely absurd. Communities can no longer afford such lavish pay/benefits. Everyone else in the private sector has had to take pay cuts and has had to continue to pay more for their health insurance. Why is it so awful for us to ask our public workers to do the same? After all, we are the ones paying the bills.
And for those of you who think the unions will negotiate - let's take a look at MPS. They would rather lose jobs then negotiate any benefits. After all, when the average MPS teacher makes $100,000 a year - and they produce such terrible test scores, why - I can see why the unions have just done a bang up job there. Can't produce an educated student but by goll, the teachers are making good money.
As for what this article is about - Delavan School District. It is the safety of the teachers and students that is the priority here. The current administrator is a typical liberal hack. She thinks that if they just don't discipline the children, then they will obviously behave and not do drugs or threaten teachers. There is a huge issue in Delavan right now - and money isn't the main issue. We want our students and teachers to feel safe. To be proud of Delavan. Not to leave.

None of you can argue facts, so you bring racisism and emotion to the case. Juan Williams makes a great arguement, with facts and yet everyone of you is arguing with anger. I am not on a soapbox - seems to me you are judging before knowing all of the facts. And if there is racisism in this country - it is from the other side. It is so much easier to protest and have a popular opinion than it is to be factual and look at things logically.
Janesvillean: you said that there are already plenty of people working on these issues. Really? Who? Because quite honestly, these issues have not been resolved. If you're gonna tell me that the democrats in office are working to fix the issues, then you're sorely mistaken. Blacks are worse off under Obama than they were under Bush. Facts speak for themselves. Do some research.
Also: as for What do I think Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are doing? I'm not sure yet. In my 20 years of being an adult - I have yet to see where they have united ALL Americans. They only divide us.
And if you actually read the article I posted, you will see that Jesse Jackson was quoted as being afraid in his own streets. They bring nothing but division. And you know it.

I will not defend what George Zimmerman did. Nor will I judge him. That's for the courts to decide based on facts and not sensationalism from the media.

In the words of Juan Williams (all you lib's should love/read this), "But what about all the other young black murder victims? Nationally, nearly half of all murder victims are black. And the overwhelming majority of those black people are killed by other black people. Where is the march for them?

Where is the march against the drug dealers who prey on young black people? Where is the march against bad schools, with their 50% dropout rate for black teenaged boys? Those failed schools are certainly guilty of creating the shameful 40% unemployment rate for black teens."

Read his article. It's a good one. And for once, I completely agree with him. Now - get off your soap box and actually try to make a difference/change in America. Educate yourself about the real issues. Hypocrisy doesn't look good on anyone.

On Why the dearth of letters related to GOP primary?

Posted on March 28 at 12:16 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

I think WI is a little bit tired of all of the political fighting that is going on. Most people know where they stand on the issues and with the elections. They don't feel the need to be public anymore. There's been a lot of nonsense in WI this past year, and I think the voters are ready to just move on.
