There are certin people we trust with our kids and one of them is our schools systems. This poor little girl was left stranded miles away from home on her first day of school and all the school can say is sorry. They need to say more and do more for this poor little girl. What if this one incident affects her for her whole life. Good luck to this little girl and her family.

And people said the whole Favre thing was getting old. You know, lets all move on already. Yea its sucks that GM is leaving and yes it sucks that people are loosing jobs. Theres always gonna be GM haters out there. Their mad cause its not them making good money but you know what if it was them it would be a whole different thing. My heart goes out to all the familys at GM but just move on. I'am sure its eaiser then said but "IT IS WHAT IT IS" The GM area isn't gonna go unused. People will bring us work. We are hard working americans from the mid west, why do you think we have so many factory jobs in our area. Keep your heads up and move on, things can't change over nite. Just give it time.

BOTTOM LINE IS THAT WE NEED CRISIS INTERVENTION, WE NEED LAW ENFORCEMENT. SO WHY CAN'T WE JUST PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER AND DO WHATS RIGHT AND NOT WHATS WRONG. HERES THE BEST IDEA...POLICE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE TIME THEY ARE SPENDING WITH THESE PEOPLE...SO WHY CAN'T ROCK COUNTY HIRE SOME PART-TIME OR AN ON-CALL POLICE OFFICER THAT CAN RESPOND TO THESE SITUATIONS. WHEN THE OFFICER IS IN ROUTE TO MERCY HOSPITAL THE ON-CALL OFFICER CAN BE CALLED AND TAKE OVER FOR HIM OR HER AT THE HOSPITAL. END OF STORY. ROCK COUNTY WANTS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE COST FOR AN ON-CALL OFFICER THEN THINK ABOUT THE TIME THAT IS WASTED FROM DAY TO DAY WITH THESE SITUATONS AND THEN ADD THEM UP AT THE END OF THE MONTH OR YEAR. heres an idea...hire the right medical staff at rock county health care center so that the patient can be medical cleared there. health care center has security officers who can sit with the clients while they are being cleared. waiting for test results are whats taking so long. if they feel that the security officers are not qualifed to do so then train them so that they are or even place them in a secured holding cell that is monitered by medical staff while waiting. its not that hard to figure out. i don't want to hear about the cost either, if the sheriff's department can afford to get all these new cars then why can't we spend a little money where we NEED IT. reguardless something has to change, this old process is wasting to much time of an officer that should be out on the street protecting out city. instead of worring about the cost for everything why can't they worry about whats right and whats best for these people in need of extra attention.

yes, they did take a life and yes they did nothing more then what was expected of them. I don't disagree with you, but my point is, its not an event where police officers should take credit for what the did or should the public know who did it. Thjats their job and thats it. Hey I built 130 beds today do you or anyone else give two @#$^& about that? No and I don't care what you do for a living. The bottom line is that this man was shot and killed by lawenforcement. They did what their training told them to do, END OF STORY.

Who cares what the officers names are. They shoot and killed a person, "END OD STORY". What, now that we know who killed this person we should give them a big thanks or even a medal? Do we know the name of the person carying out the death penatly everytime its done? No. You know why? cause nobody cares.

10 times better this year. We had a blast and then some. Lots more room. And the best firework show I have ever seen in Janesville. The grand fin was awsome. It seem like it lasted for 1/2 hour. Great job Janesville.
And for all the people living in the area that are complaning about rude behavior and kids on bike swearing, these are kids from your neighborhood. And whats the problem with an adult showing kids how to light fireworks? At least their supervised when doing it. People worry about the stupid things in life and look at all the bad things just so they have something to complain about. Times have changed, its not the 1960's anymore. Relax and have a good time and quit worring about everything else that other people do. Just cause you see something wrong with it doesn't meen the next person does.

Hey Mr Cheese,
It has nothing to do with race or cultures or even being narrow minded. It has to do with nothing more then facts. Yes maybe you have lived in the 4th ward for twenty years but when was the last time you walked around that neighborhood late at night? Maybe if your so sure its safe at night maybe you should go for a late night walk every now and then. The bottom line is that the neighborhood that once use to be safe isn't as safe as it use to be. I don't care if the person is black, white, mexican or cambodian.
My wife had to walk home from downtown just this past summer at around 1:00 am, and as she was walking she was confronted by 3 black women and was asked for a cig. My wife doesn't even smoke so she kept on walking. As she was walking away they started to call her a white bi""h and asked her what the hell is her white a"" doing in their neighborhood. All she was doing was trying to get home. How would you feel if that was your daughter, better yet how would you feel if that was your wife? I guess the point I am trying to make is that when you are affected by this stupid reverse racisim what are you suspose to think about this neighborhood.
I mean that would be like me standing in my garage having a beer after mowing the lawn and seeing a black man walk by and make racist remarks. How do you think the black man would feel about me as a white person? Its the same thing. So if your so proud of the 4th ward then why not get together with all the other home owners and renters in the neighborhood and do something about this. Make your neighborhood safe for your neighbors and others that may pass through and for all the small children that live there. If you don't do something about this soon then the fourth ward is going to be nothing more then the getto of Janesville. And no thats not being racist or narrow minded is called the "TRUTH"
