On Obama coming to Milwaukee area Feb. 15

Posted on February 6 at 7:06 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

GM and Chrysler owe us 14 Billion and have no intention of ever paying it back. Un-employment started to rise when Obama got elected. If the public would realize a
Rep would be elected the economy would really pick up.

On Deal with Caterpillar means jobs for Superior

Even Obama mentioned jobs coming back to WI from overseas last night due to giving them a tax break in Milwaukee. manufacturers have been moving out due to high taxation and regulations for years in WI. WI had a bad rep for being unfriendly to the business community. Now WI has moved up to 17 from 46. Ill is down to 47. I would suggest some of you read other stuff besides the gazette.

On Recall effort finds support in Rock County

There are people who are signing re-call petitions more than once. Several times. No way to cross check them. They will do anything to cheat. Can't believe the number of people who want their property and income taxes to go up. I'd rather have a job and pay a little more for the benefits like the private sector does than be laid off. Of course the country is turning more to the socialist takers than the producers. Lazy knuckle heads.

On Election board estimates $650,000 cost for recalls

We the tax payers will be stuck with this too. There are makers and takers in this world and its sure easy to see which are which on this board. Good grief! WE the public, are taking a 85 BILLION lose on the GM/Chrysler bailout. Govt owns 500 million shares which went from 38.00 a share in Jan to less than 22.00 now. They could have spent billions on the typewriter industry too but in the world of computers, laptops, texting phones, etc. what would that accomplish. Now they want to put on a dollar gal. gas tax to try to encourage people to buy their failed products. The bill should be sent to the lawmakers who approved the bound to fail arragement as well as with Solenda (sp). The Obama administration said we would make a profit. Obama won't approve Keystone which would create thousands of jobs and lower the price of oil to keep his enviromentlist base happy. He wants their vote next year. So, it will go to China. Btw, the Kochs are the good guys. They employ thousands of people. George Soros and other socialists who made their billions from the capitalist system, are funding the radical Occupiers, just as they did in Madison. Liberal kool aid drinkers aren't capable of a linear thought.

Sounds as tho all you envious people would rather have businesses taxed and regulated right out of the country. How's that going to help the workers here any?

On Janesville teachers union says no school board's offer

I have 4 teachers in my family. Different districts.
Districts have different pay scales. Yes, those with masters and 36 continuing education credits get more than new hires plus the years they have in. 180 days of work. one has a 86K package. All manage to have their "summer" cottage "up North", with all their toys to go with it. When I hear some one whining about their job I just think "you asked for it. No one forced you."

On GOP politicians banned from Labor Day parade

hey cyn. you mean those top wealthy in the congress, namely N. Pelosi, H. Kohl, John Kerry, Rockeffer etc. Oops they are dems not reps.
When I hear people crab about their jobs all I can say is no one forced you do take the job. They asked for it. I would think they would rather contribute to their own retirement funds and Ins. than have NO job. there are always the makers and the takers.
