The dog owners don't live on KK, they live probably a half mile away on HY 59. So there's no "your dog in my yard" type history. Who cares why they were walking on the tracks?! You or I might not do that, but that doesn't give anyone the right to shoot our dog! Bottom line - nutjob had no right to shoot the dog and should be punished to the full extent of the law.

McDonald: if you "know" some of the history betweent the parties then why didn't you share? Gotta love attorneys - not. Politicians even less.

Insofar as those posting about not being dog owners and this being a wakeup call for dog owners to be responsible??? Really??? I live in Milton too, and take a plastic bag with me whenever I walk my dogs so if they poop I'm prepared. I do have to agree that not all dog owners are responsible/curteous (sp?) enough to do that.
