And on another note: One has a broken neck....did you hear me? A BROKEN NECK....let me guess, thats not good enough for some of you.....more punishment is necessary? I think between their injuries and the punishment that will be handed down from the law.....THEY ARE SUFFERING ENOUGH! Let it be....

Prevention: If you didnt drink until you were 21, then you were a rare minority. Give me a break, the drinking age was 18 when I was young......now its 21. Its a matter of age change within the law....not whats makes a decent person. The drinking age is much lower in most countries, does that mean that all the 16 year olds in Germany are BAD people and their parents are terrible even though they follow THEIR law of a younger drinking age? How about Mexico, England, Spain? Get off ur high horse......its people like you who scare me because your skeletons are sure to be much worse than those who are willing to admit their downfalls. Mistakes and bad choices are a part of life....none of us are anywhere near perfect (including prevention). They will be punished by the law.....we do not need to punish them on this site. Nor are we god, he will do the judging. Have a little sympathy and remember your place in this world....who are you to judge? and if you dont believe that the justice system will punish them for their crimes then I guess you should really put your time and effort into lobbying for a new justice system.....would be much more productive and positive than your rants and raves on this site!

Wow....I am embarassed for many of you. A few teenagers make some bad choices and we have a whole slew of rants and raves back and forth that dont contain much intelligence. I DO know 2 of these boys and they are NOT troublemakers. They made a bad choice. Give me a break. Tell me how many of you did not drink EVER in high school? drunk driving is bad and wrong and yes I agree with all of that. Science says that a teenage boys brain does not fully develop a sense of reasoning and maturity until the age of 25. Was it a stupid mistake? YES....was it wrong? YES. Do they need to be condemned and ridiculed? NO. They are teenagers, Give it a rest.....and if you just cant do that, then find a way to make it positive. As far as Cody goes, I do believe that parental authority should have kept a closer eye on him after his incident 2 weeks ago. Even if he is 18, he is still in high school, still lives under their roof and they should be in charge of his comings and goings as far as I am concerned.

I have known this kid since he was in Kindergarten. He is not a monster. He is making very bad choices. Why do some always want to bash these children who obviously need some help and guidance? This is the time children need to be surrounded by stable, caring people who can guide them. 17 or not, he is still a "child" in my book. He needs to be punished for his actions but hopefully the system wont throw him down the drain like they usually do.

And....jjackson. Did u read anywhere that he physically harmed his wife in any way? cuz I sure didn't. Think about any time in your life that you had an argument or disagreement with a loved one. Then tell me that there was not even ONE time that it could have been reported to the police as misconduct. Even yelling in your own home can get you a DC if someone calls on it. Clean out ur own closet

Since when did choosing to be a public servant become a reason for the whole world to know your private business. We have no clue what happened that day, nor is it any of our business. Let the law handle it in a way that is appropriate. I do not know of this person but geez.......don't tell me that every single one of you commenting have never had a spat with a girlfriend or wife that is emotional. Because this person is in law enforcement does not mean that he doesn't get angry or upset. It doesnt mean that he ALWAYS has his emotions in check etc. Another ridiculous story with ridiculous posts by those who live in glass houses....yay for Janesville, what a great place to live!

oh....you can just add that to the many problems within that division. How about the rumor of donations that were received by the holiday commitee to provide certain things to foster children being taken and used elsewhere. Donations made by the public who had faith that their donations would be used for that purpose. Instead, the money is gone and management basically states that its an accounting error and too bad the donation money has been used elsewhere. Seems to me that there are MANY problems that need to be addressed. I wont be donating any more money, that is for sure!

If you want to be laughed at and ridiculed for whatever your affliction may be.....then go to Mercy ER. The whole department needs to be overturned starting from the TOP down.
