Obviously radiation is harmful but it's also inevitable. There are thousands of sources emitting radiation on you every single day. My point is just that it seems that the biggest opponents of this new procedure are not frequent fliers. If you're flying once a year to visit grandma, stay out of the sun or smoke one less cigarette to make up for your exposure at the airport.

Flying is a privilege, not a right. Those of us that fly often will indure the 30 seconds of uncomfortableness to be able to get to our destination in hours rather than days. You go ahead & drive, I'll have a good days worth of vacation/work in by the time you arrive.
