The furlough days are not fun, but I am thankful I got to keep my job. I agree that Doyle should be on an extended furlough. I get to work on Monday, not all State offices will be closed, but a majority of them are.

I am still required to shovel my sidewalks even though there are no houses on either side of me. I am the only one on my side of the street, but the sidewalks came with the driveway plan, etc. The sidewalks are only on my property. I had called the city to see if I could maybe get around shoveling them because in Milton they are putting up baracades at the end of the properties that don't have side walks after they leave your property, and the lady pretty much laughed at me and told me that I live in Janesville and that's what I am required to do.

The Pizza Queen is great! While I was shopping at Woodmans one day, I saw her hadning out samples. As I approached her to grab one, she asked me how old I was because I had to be over the age of 18 to take a slice. Talk about putting a smile on your face when you are much older than that! Great article!

Betty31 Where in the article did it say that the employees don't like their jobs? I know for a fact that everyone who works at that dealership are very thankful they have a job especially with today's economy. This article is just simply showing that not every job is easy especially when you have to deal with the snow on a regular basis. Shame on you for being so negitive!
