I forgot to mention that a motorcycle only uses our roads half the year and to compare a cycle to a car is like comparing a car to a Semi that pays thousands of dollars a year to use the roads and is limited on witch ones they can use. So we pay more than our far share.

Also the next time you hear a motorcycle you may hear it for less than a minute do you complain that your neighbor starts his lawnmower up at 2:00 in the afternoon as your trying to take a nap or watch TV about the same decibels as a most cycles I hear them all around my block all the time for a lot longer than you hear a bike. NO because it is an accepted noise in society for mowing your lawn

OK I will comment I'm Doc. First most exhaust systems are changed by the dealerships on a new bike before they leave the store. They provide the same systems as I do. Next can you buy illegal drugs, chemicals or automatic weapons NO so why if something is illegal are they legal to sell? Complain to your lawmakers if it’s legal to sell it should be legal to use.

As far as $40 Fee goes a motorcycles has 2 wheels a car pays $75 and was 4 wheels ($20 per wheel verses $18.75 for car) more efficient to operate less pollution
less wear on the roads.

Not doing to go to the tax issue I pay my share more as a business owner than a home owner.

Also do people realize that Beloit has moved their River Fest to the weekend of the 4th. This will create more competition for Janesville.

Aqua Jays BEWARE People like blackhawkdown is the real reason why groups have failed in putting together a successful celebration in the past. He makes derogatory remarks but when asked to give a intelligent opinion he has none. I took the survey it is OK to get the just of what your headed for. Do you have any backing from larger companies in town I think that is the break or make of the financing portion of the event.

Frist, The event was held at the Youth Sports Complex because of the flooding and contamination in 2008. THE CITY WANT'S IT BACK AT TRAXLER PARK.

Second, If all the people that attended the Fireworks and sat outside the event area (Lab parking lot, Gazette parking lot, Ect.) would send $1.00 per person to the Odd Fellows they would have plenty of funds to start next years event. As for EMMO46, how much did you donate to the fireworks? Why do you think this is your special event? BOO HOO.

Third, What happened to supporting the community you live in? By going to other surrounding towns, you support them not us. It seems that the people that do not support us are the biggest conplainers.
