I am very close to one of the programs in this city. It is a wonder how we (Janesville) could compete in the spring leagues and summer tournaments with Madison, Milwaukee, Rockford, etc. by winning leagues and placing very high in pretigous tournaments (2nd multiple times, 3rd, etc) and then do poor in the high school season. Both schools need a paid varsity head coach and a paid varsity assistant coach in order to compete. Too demanding of a workload for one person to handle all of the varsity responsibilities (schedule, coach, follow w/ bus and officials, fund raising, tournament director to gain funds, special events (parents night, senior night, etc). The facility upgrade was a major improvement, now keep it going with at least adequate staff.
On Powell leaves Brewers for Braves

Maybe now Brewer fans will get more game information such as score, count, etc. more often than every 3 innings. Too much dead time on Brewer broadcasts. Whoever is brought in will not match Pat Hughes and Ron Santo!
On Sex offender being released today in Janesville

Do you want tattoos on all of the sex offenders who are not yet exposed? This guy is a registered sex offender, his information is out there. I worry about the sex offenders who have not been caught. You would be surprised to know they work in schools, daycares, and are even close family members.

How can you blame a coach for this? I'm sorry, a 22 pt lead in the second half, in a high school varsity game should not end up in a loss. There is no shot clock. The players need to execute. There was less than 16 minutes left. Just spread the floor, keep possession, and wait for an open lane to the basket. This one does go 99.9% players fault.

Open road tolling will generate more income. It will also ensure that the state receives money from out of state people who come to Wisconsin. Take a look arund the northwoods, Lake Geneva, the Dells, how many Illinois plates do you see? I can also see green when they plug our tolls, come on legislature.
On Ryan says he'll donate his automatic pay raise
Posted on January 2 at 9:44 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
Donating the raise to charity is such a political move to blind the voters. Charitable contribution equals tax right off. Any politician, democrat, republican, or independent is out for themself. What can I do to get re-elected?
Same concept for the politicians who vote against a pay raise. Like the pay raise vote will get defeated. The no vote is only to use in future campaigning to look good in voter's eyes.
Doyle, Ryan, etc, get rid of them all and let's start fresh.
On Majority Leader: Three OWIs shouldn't make you a felon
Posted on January 1 at 2:03 p.m. ( Suggest removal )
Three OWI's should be a felony. Be responsible when you consume alcohol. Make arrangements for a ride, consume a little alcohol if you plan to drive, or abstain from consuming alcohol. Harsher penalties for OWI's need to be establshed or nothing will change with the amount of OWI's we have in this state.

Sounds to me the guy is a former soldier who has PTSD........of course I am being sarcastic and that makes about as much sense as domestic violence
