The issue is not if there is a alcohol problem or not. The issue is giving what the Milton community what they want. If McDonalds or Burger King in town didn't sell burgers, they would have a problem keeping customers. If Piggly Wiggly didn't sell milk and bread, they would have people going elsewhere to get groceries. People go out and want a drink they will go somewhere that has it. Tina and Dan have brought a great thing to the community. People get so caught up in the drinking part of it, but everyone needs to look at the big picture. The Caddy Shack and Gophers sponsor the school golf teams, softball teams and are always looking for ways to make the Milton community better. Unfortunately they cannot compete with other bars and restaurants in the area because people want a place to enjoy an adult beverage. Thanks to the council they now have what they need to make it an even playing field. They have a lot to offer with their community service, unique business, and excellent menu (I highly recommend the Gopher burger). Best of luck to you Tina and Dan, we're rooting for you!!!!!

I have been reading all of these comments and have tried to keep an open mind and respect the opinions of others. However, I was an alter server with the so called "victim" in this and I know one thing, there is NO WAY on Earth any of this could have possibly happened the way it was reported. I can remember serving many masses with the "victim" and we showed up at the same time and left at the same time. You can't tell me that any of this is true. Fr. Vosen helped me grow in faith and choose the correct path in a time when kids need direction. Fr. Vosen also taught me that there is only one who can judge us, it is not our place to judge. I hope and pray that one day Fr. Vosen will receive vindication for all of this. May God bless all of you!!!

Gopher's in Milton has the best burger anywhere (The Gopher Burger) and their Italian Nachos are a must!
