On Edgerton council closes skatepark

Sad that these groups get created and badger the local governments for a skate park (or other things) then take no responsibility for the ongoing management of the facility. Instant gratification with little regard for the future.

-->worst headline ever.. almost like the AP was disappointed.
Agreed. They could ditch the word "crash" too for that matter. Sounds like a forced landing that probably nosed over in the soft field. Hardly a crash.

"As recently as five or six years ago, the airport was home to four fixed-base-operations such as Janesville Jet, King said."
What happened to Roessel Aviation on the south side? They were open a few months ago, I know.
On Doyle reviews rail in Spain

"Quote=I'm all for a green planet. However, light rail is a giant hoax that makes rail contractors rich and taxpayers poor. Light rail projects have been money losers in cities all over America."
This is not light rail, it is high speed, regional passenger service designed to beat driving times and compete with short haul airlines. Madison-Milwaukee, then on to Chicago/Twin Cities is the perfect place for this. It worked for 100 years and it will work again. The all-automobile culture is not sustainable and we need to move forward with this at long last.
Doyle bringing the manufacturing of the rail cars to this country would be icing on the cake.
