They'll definitely endorse Spoden, probably Cullen. That's it I would guess for Dems.

Hmm, let me guess. The Gazette will endorse all Republicans. Why even bother with the process, we all know the outcome.

On STAN MILAM - "Uncle Stan" - more of the story.

I am also a WS Alum, and can honestly say that Stan Milam is the heart beat of this program. He is informed, well connected and highly intelligent. He is able to help students with their papers in ways that most people could not. I've traveled the country, worked in Washington DC and several policy makers since 2003 - and I can honestly say that I owe my success in life to Parker Washington Seminar and Stan Milam. God speed, god bless and keep going Stan! ~SL, WS Alum 2003

Stan Milam's show added to the great discussions of our city for 5 years, and will be missed on the air waves.

As for Vietnam Veterans, you do realize that Stan himself is a veteran of Vietnam? He went over there and did his job for our country. He's an upstanding guy in my book, and will defend his record.

Best of luck to you Stan!

On Leinenkugel launches GOP run in Janesville

Mr. Leinenkugel, where were the past 18 months as Secretary of Commerce? Thanks for all of the jobs, I bet the people of Beloit really love the work you've done with their high levels of unemployment. Why the flip flop? Are you going to run on the AMAZING record of Jim Doyle? I mean you did just serve in his administration... Sorry, we don't need another PRO-Wall Street, ANTI-Main Street, big business, screw the little guy-Republican. We'll stick with the independence of Russ.

On None

To the readers of the Janesville Gazette,

Let's keep that in mind..."Innocent until proven guilty." She has not yet been to court, and this still has to play out.

Let's also try to keep this blog/board as civil as possible. I’ve known Heather for 9 years, and like every other human - she's not perfect, none of us are. We all make decisions that we have to live with, and she'll have to live with whatever the outcome may be. I'm in no way defending driving under the influence, but let's keep in mind a child was involved as well as other people's families, and we should respect that.

Let's all pray for everyone's health in this matter, and let the law its course.

On Obama plans visit to Green Bay

He's only been President for 4 months and 2 weeks, everybody calm down...

'areyouevenlistening' - His middle name is spelled "Hussein". If you're going to be a fear monger, at least have the decency to use proper English...this is America, right? (Sarcasm).

The people of Green Bay are also suffering from job loss, and hard times - let's be happy he's coming to Wisconsin in the first place.

'NVgrf' - Yes, I agree with you, this didn't happen recently. It's taken us 8+ years to get here, don't expect some magic wand people.

We have a new driver to get this bus - that is a metaphor for our country - and it's not going to be easy to push out of the ditch.

I'm SO proud to be from Janesville. I have friends who are both with the county and city, and I'm honored to be able to call them my friends. Keep up the good work! Watch out bad guys!!!
