Would you please explain what Janesville has to offer so it could be considered a vacation destination? Parks? Bars? Tallman House? Cookie-cutter retail? I love my hometown, but come on, you can't be serious. Janesville is considered a pit-stop and that's only because of the interstate on the north side.

I just don't understand this concept of risking the safety of people and property because some feel that driving after a few beers is acceptable. Is it honestly a cultural factor or selfishness bordering on stupidity or possibly a combination of both?

Anybody remember the M*A*S*H episode where Swayze's character as a hospital patient was diagnosed with cancer? How bitterly ironic.

I have dual residency, HK and US. You think I surf the internet looking for meaningless blogs to attach my thoughts? Janesville is my hometown. I deeply care about it, especially in these hard times. It's some of the narrow-minded drama queens I can do without. Milton Ave is a viable way for kids to have a little rowdy fun. I don't recall reading about recent shootings, break-ins, beatings, drug-dealing or other such criminal behavior unless you can cite some for me.

The hypocrisy is pretty thick in this blog. As if any of you did not do questionable activities during your age of discovery, independant, and rebellious teenage years. Get off your high horses. Let the kids have some fun. If they enjoy it and you don't, stay off of Milton Avenue and quit being so damned judgemental.

You mean to tell us that you've personally checked out the thousands of puppy mills across American and each and everyone of them lie about their conditions? When can we see your documentation? Who have you interviewed? What are their titles? When were the dates of your inspections? Can you share your covert photographs? Why don't you knock off the blanket generalizations unless you have facts, figures, and dates! People of your kind disgust me.

On Councilmen ask Janesville to get tough on snowy sidewalks
Posted on October 16 at 8:22 a.m. ( Suggest removal )
This town is filled with people who bitch about anything. Just shovel your damn sidewalks already. Take responsibilty for being a homeowner. It makes no difference who installed your sidewalk. It's there. What's next? You won't shovel your sidewalks because the Chinese language program is being forced on your children since GM was shut down? People blame others way too much on something they themselves are responsible for in the first place.
