You say he wouldn't kill anyone - well my friend Luis is dead - why would his friends lie? to protect those they were arguing with? Your friend hasn't been convicted yet but when they do may you feel the same loss we feel losing Luis.

jvleastsider there has been no talk of racism on this blog - so why are you bringing it up. The fact is a 16 year old shot another in cold blood. I honestly do not care if his parents are good and college educated. I care that this boy had no value of another's life. This life has a name Luis. RIP my friend.

Is it ok to skip a day of learning? Heck students just had spring break. Do you as parents really know what they are doing? Unsupervised fun? Poor decisions can still be made at 18 - good student or not.

After reading the latest number of blogs, I believe the Gazette needs to contact the appropriate government officials and start to dissect this
problem.
