I do not have a problem with mexican culture. What I have a problem with is trading mine for theirs. We may have been the "Melting Pot" but Ellis Island has been closed to immigration for many years. Since then, we have successfully managed to bastardize all other cultures to form our own. Wars were fought to establish our country. Why is trying to preserve it looked at as a form of intolerance?

I too would like to know what it means. If it's standing around with saggy drawers and tipped hats, white people were arrested then too. You dont have to be black to look like a thug. The hispanic, white and black community have joined in on the scene.

I think the taxes are going to suck either way. Mine go up every year and yet the neighborhood sure isn't improving. If I sit here and worry about every little detail of GM's closing I'll go crazy. Unless we are prepared to sell and move there isn't much to be done about any of it. Lets just hope some other million dollar company wants to come to Janesville.

When I stated that "I hope they throw her in the pan and let her fry," I was not referring to the electric chair. I was saying that she deserves to feel the heat and I hope they make her. I want them to punish her in a way that mommy and daddy cant bail her out of. If I was talking about the electric chair I would have said "give her the chair".

Telling me not to look if I dont like what I see is similar to telling non-smokers not to inhale when someone is smoking near them. You can't always help what you see, smell or hear. While I agree that you should be able to wear your clothing comfortably, there is a difference between comfortable and indecent. 1/2 of these "saggy bottom boys" wear them so low you start to see pubic hair and butt crack. They can't be courteous enough to keep a shirt on to cover it all. Or it seems like even if they do have one on they have it hiked up over the hand they have tucked down the front of their pants. Either way it dosen't look very nice. Are they storing a gun, copping a feel, or do they just have a tummy ache? I feel the same way about belly shirts, low rise jeans and super low cut shirts. Wear them at home.
