Janesville and Rock County snow removal always has been and continues to be a joke. Ask any long-haul truck driver their impression of Rock County Wisconsin snow removal efforts. I don't know how the persons responsible for Janesville city and Rock County snow plowing keeps their job year after year.

I continue to ask why health insurance reform is not as simple as making us all part of the Federal health plan that all the "wheeling and dealing" Senators and Representatives have. Same cost, same benefits, same coverage.

You accurately state that Rep. Ryan and Sen. Feingold have government paid health insurance. So why not just include all Americans in the same plan that our Federal legislators have?? Nothing better, nothing less and at the same cost!!

Maybe, just maybe if Rock County would put some effort into it, the roads might be cleared of snow. Drive over the county line to the east, north, or west and realize how poor the road snow removal is in Rock County. This morning was an example of how pitiful the effort is in the county. Ice covered and slippery on the roads but any parking lot with a small application of salt was fine.

John: I am the president of BTC and I have no idea what you are referring to in paragrapg 8 where you speak of me behaving as "The Hulk". For the record, the current budget of BTC (2009-2010) was approved with a .6% increase in taxes. I fully recognize that to be unacceptable to you because the Board is appointed. BTC was second only to Nicolet with a -.4% increase. I think the appointed Boards of the Technical Colleges are doing much better as custodians of public dollars than the elected legislators in Madison.
