Both of my Honda’s were made in Marysville, OH USA! Up until a few years ago the motorcycle (production not custom) with highest USA parts content was a Honda Goldwing made in Marysville. That’s why Harley got shot down in court for the “Made in the USA” label they tried to put on, foreign parts content was too high.

Another big issue for Harley is the financing, they would bundle loans and sell them to investors. Nobody is buying the loans now so Harley has to hold them, which they can’t afford. It’s a catch 22 for Harley as a majority of their bike sales are financed through them. It’s not uncommon for some to finance a Harley for 7-10 years. I believe the quality of the bikes are just as good as others but there is a premium you pay for the HD name. I have a Kawasaki and Honda cruiser and they’re just as good but half the price. It’s not uncommon for some to finance a Harley for 7-10 years.

I’ve been commuting from Janesville to Madison every day for years. The traffic is heavy compared to a few years ago. I highly doubt an interstate expansion would bring jobs but it would make my commute less congested. If the goal is to turn Janesville into a bedroom community and not a place of work then expand Hwy 14 to four lanes while you’re at it. A billion dollar highway project will not bring jobs, a business friendly (tax incentives and union free) environment will.

I have a feeling other and much more extreme (violent) parties will evolve on both sides of the political spectrum. Anger and division continue to grow in this country and it will explode if immigration reform starts. It would be sad to see it come to this but I believe this is the path were going down.

Surplus Army tents surrounded by a guarded wall would be cheaper. Nice to see better accommodations for our criminals than what I had in Iraq. Not saying that ours were bad, (we had it easy compared to Vietnam or Korea) but it ticks me off to see how accommodating we are to societies trash.

I’ve been on one of those buses and seeing all the people along the street is amazing. I hope Milton avenue is lined with cheering crowds the entire way.

They’ll have some type of reception or awards ceremony at the armory and being it’s one unit with one commander it’s hard for him to be in two places at once. At least that’s what they did when I came home from my deployment. I’m sure it’s not a money or coordination issue its, they went over and served as one unit and now they will be recognized as one unit.

Truth1: Most bikes will get between 45-55 MPG. My 2.0L Ford Focus will get around 37 Hwy, my 1.8L Honda VTX gets close to 45.
