On Neumann: Stop health-care overhaul

Posted on March 22 at 3:08 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

totellthetruth: I am not sure how this is going to cost health care jobs. When, we will be adding millions to the rolls. Is it going to lower the quality of our health care? That is quite doubtful. There are many studies and reports out there that show our quality of health care is no greater then those who have a single payer or government run option.

I find it funny that if we are the greatest nation in the world, yet close to 50% of our nation feels that we should not care for our neighbor. What good Christians we are, huh?

In fact we spend more to blow up our fellow man then we do to educate our young and provide health care.

And while we have these inequalities some of us feel as though as we should be giving more and more money to insurance companies so that they can spend less and less on those who need the care and more and more filling up their pocketbooks.

The only thing that I a wish was we had a single payer universal health care system. In the mean time, this non radical needed change to the system is more the deserved.

On New snow plow philosophy made for cleaner Janesville streets

Posted on January 18 at 4:56 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Its all about perception. On average the city is cleared within 10 hours. This is pretty good I would say.

I think what would be interesting, would be to add a GPS tag to the trucks and turn them on when there is a snow storm. Then us city folk can, from the comfort of our home, or from our phones even, view the status of the cleared streets. An additional benefit would be to know when we have to move our cars so they don't get plowed in.

The cost could be relatively small with available open source applications. Probably integrate with Google Maps. The hardware on the other hand, that could be the semi-pricey part.

If you look at from a cost benefit perspective. If the time taken to take complaint calls is reduced to a certain point, it may pay for itself.

Just A Thought

The funny thing about keeping the dollar strong, means that its too expensive for other countries to buy stuff we make. I am not against a strong dollar, but keep in mind that China keeps their currency artificially weak. To add to this, and on a positive note, with our dollar a little weaker today then it was, our exports have risen, because it is more economical for other countries to buy our goods then before. Just remember there are always two sides to every story.

On Wis. firm sues rival over search-engine keywords

@lost_city and @devilsadvocate:

The the article is talking about the Paid Ads and not the organic natural listings. Currently there are no paid ads shown for this search term because they were probably taken down by Google at the request of Habush et al

Previously if a search was down with the term mentioned above it would have shown a sponsored add for Cannon & Dunphy

I hope this helps

This is just hilarious. Nothing better than a Lawyer suing another Lawyer.

However, I think they got themselves into a bigger mess.

If you search on Google for the term mentioned in the article above, about half of the results talk about this suit.

If their intention was to keep a low profile and not draw attention to their competition, I think that strategically this was a poor decision.

I have to agree, they are doing a wonderful job. Its nice to see this type of growth here in Janesville. They are putting a lot of money into this expansion. I took a look into just how big the market is for the services they provide. This space is too small to write it all up, but feel free to read it at my blog - http://www.jansevilleseo.com

The answer may surprise you!
