The school board members from Newark would appear to be extremely self serving. It seems obvious that the lower number of students there can be absorbed without getting trailers. Maybe when the referendum fails and a couple of them get voted out they will get the idea.

The part that bothers me the most about this is the gazette coverage. Front page headlines, yet a 17 old recently gets gunned down in Beloit and it barely gets a small notation buried 5 pages deep. I guess if it doesn't happen right in Janesville it doesn't matter much to the Gazette anymore.

They should just close Newark only like the majority of the people in the district probably want. Why don't they put that on the referendum?
