@saxcat70, great guitarist, think I might have met him @ a Keaggy show once. Looks familiar, never heard him play before.

cool, can hardly wait for opening day. Have a 28 jersey that will see less use this year, unless they sign some guy named IELDE and give him 28.

1988 Austin Texas, David Lee Roth with Steve Vai as guitarist. Hyper high energy. Anyone who can handle a triple neck heart shaped guitar is a master. Poison as opening band. Probably more hairspray used backstage than in the whole Austin high school system that day. Monsters of Rock Tour 1988 was pretty impressive with Van Hagar. Saw that tour in the cotton bowl in the middle of summer. Hotter than heck but amazing live. Seen Vai several times live, G3, Satriani, and round it out with a solo gig from Phil Keaggy and that about as good as it is going to get.

Seems to me that you want to be part of a community while the other blogger wants a soap box. Aren't both okay?

What makes Fielder valuable beyond the playing field is the fans who are incessantly buying anything #28 related. Fielder was a critical component to the crew making the playoffs this year and I don't think anyone other than Albert the great could be a suitable replacement. Without Fielder, no one in their right mind pitches to Brauny. Matt Gamel, Corey Hart, no other person right now makes a bid at replacing Fielder's bat and fan support. Mark should take a hint and offer what he needs to keep him long term. With Braun and Fielder signed long term the Brewers will become a force to be reckoned with in the NL central for many years to come. I will vow to not go to any games next year if he ends up with the Cubs. What is SI thinking?

How many times have I thought about this. Father served on the counsel for many many years in small town Wisconsin. Don't have nerves of steel.

You really do have to hand it to the Cardinals, they are playing the best baseball in October, and that is all that matters now. As much as Albert took his boos, his empathetically called time out in the 8th inning really shows everyone that the game has real people with real emotions and feelings. Please Prince do not go to the Yankees or Cubs, that would be plain sickening.

Class no class. Class or lack of class is an individual accomplishment... Unless of course, you are a Cub fan, then there is no hope on earth for you.

This fan got choked up when walking into Miller Park for his first postseason game with his daughter.
