I was lucky enough to remember Coach Suter when he came to Craig (Still Janesville Sr. High) and was an assistance to Coach DuFrane. Always willing to talk to you and a great help in trying to solve your problems. Best of luck in your retirement. You touched many lives.

Can anyone figure out why the car companies still spend millions on commercials when no one is buying? Save your money and put it into newspaper ads which are cheaper.

Are they trying to run the dairy farmers out of business? If you pay less to the farmers, then the price of cheese and milk should be lower. Obviously the greedy like the higher prices they are getting and decided to screw the farmers. The poor farmer is stuck in the middle. Can't keep the milk because he will lose even more money. The cows keep producing no matter what.

If you are going to pray in a public meeting then you might be offending someone. Pray in your church if you want, but don't impose your beliefs on those that have other views. Speaking of unintelligent. The bible was created to control the unintelligent masses with fear. Let me know when someone can come back from heaven or hell and tell me what it's like. Then I might believe in whomever. Remember the bible was written by man here on earth.

Since all of our homes have lost value in the last year the city should lower our taxes. Fair is fair. Then the city will have less money to spend on teaches. Sure give them their raise because you can't get out of it. Then start laying off teachers because you can't afford to keep all of them. Lots of people with a college degree make a lot less than $50,000 a year and without health benefits.

Nice, but how about cutting back on some of those TV commercials? I'm sure they run into the millions every day. The Volt will be ok, but Ford is developing one that will get 60 Miles per charge. If the cost of the Volt isn't consumer friendly then they can forget it. I understand it will be around $40,000. Way too high for the average consumer.

Thanks to Janesville for opening the ice rink at Traxler. It was many years ago that my brothers and I would go down and skate around the rink. Unfortunately it always reminded me of falling and banging the back of your head on the ice so hard it would knock the snot out of you.

Great that you won, but the IRS will be giving you a call about the taxes due on the win. Always a down side on these kind of things.
