We just went by there a half hour ago, it was SCARY to see that a car had went into the river off that high wall. Thank goodness no one was killed. Our thoughts go out to the injured and their families.

My cousins daughter was killed when a passenger didn't put on a seatbelt. Everyone else was wearing one, and the child was in a carseat. When the car was hit, the passenger flew into the backseat landing on the child, killing her. Of course everyone else was fine, including the passenger. So sad.

evansvillehousewife. Wow, where do you get your information from? About the only truth you told was about the police involvement. How about you go volunteer, or speak to an employee and find out what the humane society is really about before giving false information. Oh, and by the way, yes a wolf hybrid is illegal in most of Rock county.

After thinking about it a bit, I think maybe Mr. Hurlys comment meant something other than what was printed. (maybe the reporter paraphrased too much?) I think what he meant was that if the town had an ordinance, maybe so many pets wouldn't have died. I don't think he meant anything mean or bad towards Tammy or anyone else. He knows Tammy is a good rescue person, and I believe that she knows Jim wouldn't say something that insensitive. (Just my opinion, please be gentle.)
