Short term political gain in exchange for the loss of a long term transportation expansion and more jobs that would help to expand our economy and reduce the ever-expanding strain on our transportation infrastructure. Republicans strike a blow against progress.....again.

I don't necessarily agree with your decision but I do understand the drain on resources that unlimited comments must cause. It is a shame that we live in a time when the stupidity of a few results in unfortunate restrictions on us all. It is becoming more and more common with no end in sight. Too bad.

"Ostrowski said the police department has trained and developed two police lieutenants who are qualified to absorb some day-to-day responsibilities of a police chief." With the ex-chief a phone call away to give advice, promote one of the lieutenants and be done with it. Why waste time and money. Do it the smart way and not the "government way" for a change.

New jobs. More accommodations for the trucks that haul EVERYTHING we need and use. And, the first three comments are negative. I love this place.
