seriously some of you need to think before you type such bull! i mean seriously cops cant drink? they dont stop drunks on the street cuz their drunk they stop them if their idiots or breaking the law. and NO you are not at any point in time allowed to bring a beer or any type of liquor into a bar that came from another or are you allowed to leave a bar with any type of liquor.
Second the majority of bars do not have bouncers on sundays because it barely gets busy enough to even need one! and quotes only has bouncers wed, thurs, fri, and saturday!
and anyone who thinks defending a 18 year old kid who walks into a bar knowing the law says hes not allowed, with a bandanna around his face and his hand in his pants isnt trying to rob the place. GET A CLUE! seriously what did you think he was dressing up for halloween? and when he came up behind the off-duty officer he obviously said something other than hey im looking for someone! NO I DONT THINK SO! what does a robber say to someone when they come up behind them? I dont know about about GET ON THE FLOOR? or something of that nature would make a bit more sense! and i would never in a million years want someone to take the time to figure out if the person has a gun or not, i would personally take that punk out myself without hesitation. also look at the kids record he was on probation for ATTEMPTIVE ROBBERY, but im sure he just came in to quotes looking for someone. DONT BE DUMB! he was a punk kid who thought he could get a couple bucks!

Ok i am a bartender at quotes and love it, and if you dont like the dress codes or events that occur there thats just fine. everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But the dress code has illuminated a large amount of problems that happen down at quotes. None of the dress code is meant to be racist or offensive to anyone personally. Seeing we do have black, white, and asian customers, also we have had and have black bouncers as said in the article from our wonderful bouncer Larry who has been there for years. And for that comment left by ladyfc, as a bartender at quotes i think that you are an overly judgmental girl who is confused. None of us bartenders walk in thinking we are sooo hot and better than everyone we are women who are putting ourselves through college or just trying to make a living during this time of a poor economy, the last thing of our worries is to look or feel better than anyone. So instead of sitting her judging us without having even a sliver of a clue on who we are as people, take the time to actually approach us and find out who we really our first. Now i love all of our customers and some of them are good friends. Also I am far from racist and love everyone. If i am mean its because someone is mean or rude to me for no reason. So come in sometime and have a drink you might actually enjoy it.

Joker you should know the law before you starting telling the police who they should be giving fines too! Quotes can not be fined for letting someone come into the bar with liquor they can only get in trouble for letting someone leave the bar with liquor! and like the bartender had much time to worry about the cops coming into the bar with beer....the cops werent even in the bar for a minute before that kid come up behind them! use your brain please
