I understand that volume is the key to making it.
It is called subsidies from the government. It is not necessary to make a profit. I would not live in the country in Wisconsin without a reverse-osmosis water filter. Wisconsin has the most polluted water in the U.S.
It is the way of the future and financed by banks that are financed by our taxes/bailout.

How is it that Larson can build a huge farm like that when milk is so cheap and corn and beans are not paying??

I am not a farmer and don't understand where the money comes from to keep going.
Do farmers pay taxes?? Maybe not? Who will pay for the debt our country is in?

This is is a difficult situation.
This kind of farm will kill smaller farms and drive them out of business. Anyone remember the small town businesses? Now Walmart is the place to shop.Do you shop the small local places? Well then, this is what you get.
Wages are so low you can't live on them and the jobs are not available . Oh well, I do believe that soon the government that supports these big farms will support us and we won't have to work.
These rich big farmers will pay the taxes to take care of us.
