Babsjv asked...the guestion is if he could find his cell phone then why couldn't he get up the hill for help?
He has a shattered knee, and is paralyzed from the waist down. He crawled on his elbows to where he heard his phone beeping in the tall grass. Not to mention he was dehydrated and in shock. I wish people would read the article before commenting on stupid things!

Knowing Devin, it is very very painful to hear the tape of that 911 call. Thank god he had 3 mins left on his cell battery to make that call. Great job to Dispatcher Wogaman and the staff at Rock Co 911 in locating him.
I pray his surgery is a success on Wednesday and that his paralysis is only temporary. Hang in there Devin...Your friends are pulling for ya sweetie!!

Beattle..uhm yes he does drink. I have had a few beers with him recently. But that doesn't matter either way. It is very sad that this happen. We have had some bad accidents as of late with motorcycles. He is also a father and a very nice man. I heard he has a broken back and no feeling from his waist down. I hope he is able to walk again. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. Also for all those pushing the helmet law...would the helmet have saved his back???
I wish you a speedy recovery Devin!!
On Names of deputies involved in last week’s fatal shooting released

Hats off to both Walworth County Deputies who had to make that split second, life saving choice. I am sure they didn't go to work that day thinking they would have to end a man's life.
They are both commendable for their actions that day.

I think it looks very nice. However, Loves Park, Illinois recently ran an article that white paint yellows fast. They had considered switching painting their white water tower to dark blue to alleviate a need to paint every few years. It was voted down, but I think we will be in a similiar situation.
My only question is why is the J, S and E larger than the rest?

I am with SK. I didn't grow up in Janesville but I always knew "where the cow was" and Shakey's!
Altho I also don't think it is fitting to be next to Del Taco, I am glad to see her back, close to her "old home." I am sure there are many kids traveling on I-90, pointing out the window, to the beloved Bessie.
Kudos to Al at Utzig for a fine job he did!

Ooops..he denied the allegations, was shown proof with a video tape, then admits yes, he did use the card. Now he is wasting time pleading not guilty. Why not just take your punishment and be done. Eye roll!
