DEATH NOTICE POLICIES:
Generally, death notices are submitted by funeral homes. If a family member or friend of the deceased submits a death notice, it cannot be published until we confirm the death with a funeral home, cremation service, or whoever assisted at the time of death. If necessary, a copy of the death certificate would confirm the death.
DEATH NOTICE FORMAT:
Death notices are free, so we limit what is allowed in a death notice. The information included is the name, age, where the deceased was from, where and when he/she died, when and where the services are, and what funeral home is assisting.
The burial information is not included, nor any information about memorial donations.
