Nathan Solis made it 1-0 Janesville with a goal at 5:59 of the first period, and MacLaren's first of two goals pushed the lead to 2-0 less than two minutes later.

Johnstown cut the deficit to one late in the first, but MacLaren's power-play goal at 1:27 of the second concluded the scoring.
