Jordan Muzzillo scored 3:38 into overtime, helping the Springfield Jr. Blues secure two points with a 1-0 win over the rival Janesville Jets during Friday’s NAHL game in Springfield, Illinois.

Janesville (31-10-4-2) was shut out for the second time in three games a night after scoring six times in a win over Coulee Region. Springfield (24-19-5-1) got a big win as it continues to fight for a playoff spot.

Daniel Lebedeff stopped 40 shots in the loss, while Jr. Blues goalie Evan Fear made 30 saves for his first shutout of the season.

The Jets and Jr. Blues will play again tonight in Springfield. It will be the second in a string of seven consecutive road games for Janesville, which doesn’t return home until March 23.
