The Franklin co-op gymnastics team dominated the WIAA Division 1 Waukesha Sectional on Thursday.

Franklin won the team title with a score of 147.375, while the Burlington co-op was second with 141.55.

Both teams advance to the state team tournament in Wisconsin Rapids.

Milton finished sixth, Janesville Craig seventh and Janesville Parker eighth.

No area gymnast advanced to state.

Milton’s Ashley Thompson just missed a state berth after finishing sixth on vault and seventh in the all-around.

The top five finishers in each event qualified for state.
