Edgerton High’s boys basketball team keeps finding ways to win after falling behind.

On Tuesday, Alec Johnson made a go-ahead free throw and Clayton Jenny added two more late as the Crimson Tide rallied to defeat Evansville 46-43 in a Rock Valley Conference boys basketball game at Evansville High.

The Crimson Tide (13-4, 10-4 RVC) swept the season series against the Blue Devils (7-11, 6-8 RVC), who missed two potential game-tying 3-pointers.

Edgerton trailed 28-24 at halftime.

Jenny led Edgerton with 13 points, while Dan Zeimet added 12.

Evansville’s Zach Mielke led all players with 24 points.

The Crimson Tide remain tied with Beloit Turner for third place in the Rock Valley.

Jefferson 62, Clinton 44—-The Eagles used a big second half to down Clinton.

After trailing by three at halftime, the Eagles supplied 40 points in the second half.

James Monogue paced all scorers with 24 points for Jefferson.

Zach Krause had 13 to lead the Cougars, who fell to 5-13 and 3-11.

Turner 59, Big Foot 51—Beloit Turner survived an upset attempt by host Big Foot.

Leading by just a single point late in the first half, Turner went on a 12-4 run in the final two and a half minutes to lead 30-21 at the break.

The Chiefs continued to fight back, eliminating the deficit multiple times, but they never got the lead.

Steve Dillard led the Chiefs with 20 points, while Jordan Majeed added 15.

Logan Eischeid had 17 for Big Foot.

McFarland 82, Brodhead 41—The host Cardinals suffered their worst loss of the season, while the Spartans remained with one game of East Troy. A full box score was not reported.
