Clinton High’s basketball teams earned a nonconference home sweep of North Boone (Illinois) on Saturday.

The Cougars girls team opened with a 66-45 win, and the boys followed with an 89-72 victory in the nightcap.

Liz Kalk scored 19 to lead the girls team, which built a 15-point lead by halftime and never looked back. Hannah Welte added a dozen points, while Addy Ciochon had 11.

Caleb Gracyalny hit eight 3-pointers on his way to 30 points for the boys team. Zach Krause added a dozen.
