Orfordville Parkview’s boys basketball team is fitting in nicely in the Trailways South Conference.

The Vikings have won four straight games to get to 5-1 overall and have started 2-0 in the Trailways South after an 81-50 victory at Madison Country Day on Monday night.

Justin Balch made six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 26 points, and Parkview—which moved out of the Rock Valley Conference this year—raced out to a 42-19 halftime lead.

Adrian Meza added 14 points for the Vikings, while Riley Carroll had 13.

Parkview and Palmyra-Eagle, which also moved out of the RVC, are the last two remaining unbeatens in the Trailways South. The Vikings are off until next Monday, when they travel to Deerfield.

Turner 80, Marshall 64—The Trojans put together an impressive second half on the road to pick up a nonconference victory and improve to 4-1 overall.

Four players scored in double figures, and Turner rebounded from a five-point halftime deficit to outscore Marshall 48-27 in the final 18 minutes.

Sereno Ferone led the Trojans with 23 points, while Steve Dillard made four 3-pointers on his way to 18. Dai’Vontrelle Strong added 15, and Jordan Majeed finished with 10.

Turner plays at Brodhead on Thursday in a battle of teams with 2-1 Rock Valley Conference records.

Daniel Fuller had 18 points to lead four Whitewater players in double figures. The Whippets (2-3) have lost three straight games. Union Grove improved to 3-1.
