Sulley Geske scored 18 points to lead four Evansville players in double figures as the Blue Devils eased past the visiting Brodhead Cardinals, 80-62, in a Rock Valley Conference game Monday.

Evansville (9-12, 8-9 RVC) will have a chance to even its conference record Thursday when it travels to Big Foot. Brodhead (7-14, 5-12 RVC) dropped its fifth straight game.

Zach Mielke had 17 points, Seth Maag had 14 and Davonte McAlister added 10 for the Blue Devils. Parker Johnson led the Cardinals with 22 points, while Dawson McGinty made three 3s to finish with 11 points.

Evansville led 41-30 at halftime, and has won two of its last three games.

Whitewater 50, Big Foot 35—The Whippets were locked in defensively during a win over the visiting Chiefs.

Bryce Parrish had 22 points to lead Whitewater (9-12, 7-10 RVC), which held an opponent under 40 points for the third time this season.

Big Foot’s Max Hildebrandt scored 16 points, including 8 of 8 free throws, but the rest of his teammates combined to make just six field goals.

East Troy 65, Beloit Turner 40—Turner was held to its lowest scoring output of the season and without a 3-pointer in a loss to host East Troy

Dai’Vontrelle Strong scored 22 points on nine field goals and four free throws for Turner (14-7, 12-5), which dropped out of a third-place tie with Edgerton.

Turner is the only team to beat East Troy in league play this season.

East Troy’s AJ Vukovich led all players with 26 points. East Troy (16-5, 16-1 RVC) clinched its first outright Rock Valley Conference title since 2016.

The outright title was made possible when Jefferson sprung a 67-63 upset at second-place McFarland.

Marshall 66, Parkview 61—The Vikings let a two-point halftime lead slip away in a nonconference loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday in Orfordville.

Reece Leistikow finished with 33 points and made five of Marshall’s 12 3-pointers. The Cardinals (7-14) have gone 7-2 since an 0-12 start.

Parkview (13-8) had a two-game winning streak snapped. Aydon Campbell led the Vikings with 24 points and nine field goals.
