East Troy’s chances of capturing its first conference title since 2016 continue to improve with each passing win.

AJ Vukovich scored 27 points and the Trojans routed the Big Foot Chiefs 91-50 in a Rock Valley Conference boys basketball makeup game Monday at East Troy High.

East Troy (11-4, 11-1 RVC) holds a one-game lead over McFarland for first place in the Rock Valley and will play only one team with a winning conference record over its final six league games.

Big Foot (2-14 overall) is still winless at 0-12.

The Trojans didn’t let up after building a 49-24 halftime lead. Michael Polakoski had 17 points and Quentin Lottig and Nick Bourdo each added 12 in the win.

Logan Eischeid led the Chiefs with 13 points.

Jefferson 86, Milton 53—Ben Sukow and James Monogue each scored 17 points to lead the Eagles in a nonconference win over the visiting Red Hawks.

Jefferson held a commanding 53-25 lead at halftime. The Eagles improved to 7-9 while Milton fell to 0-17.

Kyle Wecker had 12 points to lead the Red Hawks.

Girls

Waterloo 57, Parkview 46—Brittney Limoseth, a 5-foot-11 junior, scored 23 points to lead the Pirates over the Vikings in a nonconference girls basketball game in Orfordville.

Waterloo (6-12) snapped a nine-game losing streak. Parkview (8-10) is 0-8 against nonconference opponents this season.

“They got out and ran in transition,” Parkview coach Chad Smith said. “I thought we rebounded the ball well and we picked it up on the offensive end.”

Taylor Burrell and Kristine Mumm each had 16 points to lead the Vikings.

Limoseth scored 11 first-half points to help Waterloo take a 26-18 lead.

Oconomowoc 46, Elkhorn 43—Olivia Sobczak scored 15 of her game-high 24 points in a first half where the Raccoons built a seven-point lead, and they held on for the home nonconference victory.

Elkhorn, which fell to 7-9 overall, got 14 points from Haley Remington and 10 from Maddie Ivey.
