Nine 3-pointers fueled No. 5-ranked UW-Whitewater past visiting UW-Stout 69-55 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball action Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks moved to 3-1 in the WIAC and 13-2 overall. Stout fell to 0-4, 6-9.

Andre Brown led the Warhawks with 20 points. Dalton Menke added 11, with David Sachs adding 10 points and five assists.

Janesville Parker graduate Riley Jensen shared rebounding honors with Derek Rongstad with six each.

The game was close until a 12-2 run by the Warhawks, which included two dunks by Jensen.

The Warhawks are at home Wednesday night against first-place UW-Stevens Point.

The Pointers are 4-0 in the conference.
