— The Janesville Parker High School gaduation ceremony will be held outdoors at Monterey Stadium tonight.

The ceremony originally was planned for Monterey Stadium, but plans changed with the forecast of possible thunderstorms today.

So Parker High School officials decided to move their graduation ceremony into the school’s gymnasium.

However, the forecast changed again late this morning, allowing officials to move the ceremony back to Monterey.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. at the stadium. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m.

Parking in front of the stadium is reserved for handicapped only.

Well, the weather was just fine. It was breezy but that felt good considering the mugginess. I think the last minute call was the right one.
