No more Obama rally tickets
MILWAUKEE
Tickets are no longer available for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s speech in Milwaukee later today. He’s speaking at 6 p.m. today at the Marcus Amphitheater on the lakefront at the yearly Labor Day event called Rally for America’s Workers.
Obama’s campaign says he will continue to tout his plans to provide relief for working families.
The visit is Obama’s second to Wisconsin in as many weeks. He was in Eau Claire Aug. 24.
Obama campaigned in Ohio and Michigan Sunday, joined by running mate Joe Biden.

And McCain doesn't make any mistakes? I for one would like a President that knows what countries the leaders are actually from. McCain thinks Putin is the President of Germany http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5ENwej0f.... There's a real knowledgable guy for you. And according to McCain's wife, Palin has Foreign Policy experience because Alaska is close to Russia.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zP8uFPWxaA

support_local_racing: I agree with you. I was just stiring up the DEM's. One of the best ways to research a candidate would be to look at their voting record.

I only hope that a strong majority of people that are voting know WHY they are voting the way the are. So much misinformation is being spewed out from every outlet (these blogs included) that a person needs to spend a month straight trying to verify facts just to figure out where the candidates stand on the issues and just how, exactly, budgets will be met, taxes will be lowered, and troops will be withdrawn, etc.
*
It scares me to death when I read some of these blog posts about what people are believing.
*
Seriously people, if you ARE going to vote, do your best to get the facts, understand the candidates and the issues, and determine what exactly you care about most. Don't believe the blogs, the media, or the attack ads. It's simply too hard to filter the accurate from the inaccurate from the half-truths. Go to the candidates web sites, see where they stand on the issues that matter the most to you and make an intelligent decision based on that.

Look at all the Dem's coming out! Yippee! Since we are party bashing I'll jump in too. Democrats are the issue!
Someone please tell me what our adultering president did when the USS Cole was bombed....that's right NOTHING! What do you suppose the terrorists thought about that? If I were a terrorist I might think, what the heck they aren't responding lets plan a bigger attack. So 9/11 happens and we go to war in afghanistan. Good call, should have spent more there rather than in Iraq.
If we pick up and leave like your illustrious Obama wants to then this (Iraq) country will be a terrorist breeding ground. Where do you suppose these people will attack????? If you think 9/11 was big wait and see what is in store if we let them open up camps in a war torn country.

It is easy to sit and judge when you have but a fraction of the responsibility isn't it! You can't pin the economy on one person! One would have to be very ignorant to do so.

?LIBERALS?

If I had the money I would have bought a bunch of his tickets then flushed them in the toliet just so the rest of you couldn't attend!

Dr Talk. I agree with you. I have made more money and have been much better off in the last 8 prosperous years. The slackers that sit around waiting for a handout, or someone to come along and make their situation better will always complain like bubavoo and nvgirl are doing. Typical bleating heart liberals. They are stupid enough to ignore thed fact that 911 and a downturn in the stock market are not the fault of any one person.

I'm really getting tired of hearing about all of this hurricane crap. The city is built below sea level... that's just a bad idea to begin with. I've been through a few hurricanes and typhoons, they aren't that bad. We've had numerous severe thunderstorms in Wisconsin which have been way worse.

janesvillemom,
Let's say the human embryo in its early stages does actually look similar to embryo of other species in early stages. Has there ever been any evidence the human embryo would become anything other than human? No. Humans give birth to humuns, canines give birth to canines, etc...
So using the term baby IS CORRECT. It is a baby human.

The Republican party has done NOTHING for the American people in the last 8 years and it's time you all woke up to this fact. Do you want 4 more years of this kind of leadership. Not if you are sane. We need to go to work to try to reverse the damage Bush has done to us. We really are better than this folks.

Obama in Wisconsin again? He certainly wouldn't have come back twice in the last few weeks if his 13 point lead over McCain deteriorated down to nothing. Fine with me, that's less time he'll spend in Ohio and Pennsylvania!
